The Kromdraai Valley lies in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage site, 45 minutes from the centers of Johannesburg and Tshwane. It is a destination for diverse cultural, environmental, social, and scientific impact, led by philanthropic initiatives including the NIROX Foundation, Villa-Legodi Centre for Sculpture, and Columba Leadership Residency.
Kromdraai Impact Hub joins these initiatives to provide residencies, projects, and workshops for collaborative creativity that have a positive social impact.
It draws from and expands on NIROX Foundation’s extensive experience in providing residencies, exhibitions, workshops, concerts, and facilitating projects for artists from all disciplines.
The Hub has a bifocal approach, utilizing creativity to inspire and empower local disadvantaged communities, while also providing expert learning and growth opportunities for creatives and social activists of all kinds.
